I have already cleaned the iacv. The EGR is blocked. I don't think it is fuel filter because I have fuel gauge hooked and it reads good pressure. Valves never adjusted.

valve lash needs to be adjusted every 20k miles. adjust the valves, and use premium gas only

I will get it adjusted hopefully it will solve this problem. I also noticed that the distributor is leaking a lot could it be causing this?

When did it start ? Is it safe to assume you're using a chipped ecu ? You can't just block the egr off with a stock ecu. It's going to run rich and rough. It's not going to affect idle though.

The ecu is p28 chipped with stock h22 basemap. I don't think blocking the EGR will cause this issue because the p28 is not reading the EGR.
the problem started before two days. I was away for one week and when I came back I started the car and it just idles like that

get a professional tune. a basemap should NEVER be driven on.
and before the tune, do a good health check and upgrade: valve lash adjustment, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, oil change, compression test, etc

I got the valves job done. Installed new plugs & wires. Pulled the distributor and cleaned it from oil, replace inner seal and outer O-ring, tested its sensors all fine 360ohms, coild tested too its fine too. Switched to p13 stock ecu. Car runs bit better but still idles rough. It acts like it has race cams LOL

have you checked for any stored trouble codes?
have you done a compression test?
how far off was the valve lash?

Yeah, I did check i got only code 22 which is the vtec pressure switch. I haven't done compression test yet.
Yesterday i pulled the spark plugs wires and found that when i pull the first and last wires the car dies but when i remove the wires from the second and third cylinders the car runs without any change. As for the valve thing i dont know because my friend did it for me, i can ask him and come back to you

get new NGK wires if you didn't to begin with. any other brand is pretty much trash. cap and rotor too if you didn't replace those.
beyond that, a compression test and valve adjustment will tell the rest of the story

The car was running on two cylinders. it was the alternator f***ed. if any one face like this issue check the alternator voltage.
