You're going to downshift to 1st? That rarely works out well with a manual transmission. At VIR we come out of 45 mph turns in 3rd gear just fine. 1st gear is only going to take you to about 35mph with a 23" tire.

Yes we will get into 1st. With the barber pole race there is a pole in the front and rear streight so each time you come to the pole u turn left and go around it. So when u are existing other cars are entering kinda like figure 8 except slow entersection.LOL

The other race the Enduro the track is shaped like a peanut also a pole in the front and back streight but u go to the inside of the pole. Usually half the race is one direction and the other half is the opposite direction.

The only thing you could do is get adjustable cam gears and do some trial and error testing on a dyno with various settings, but that would break the rules of a stock engine.

Re: 95 Prelude race only ECU wiring
Ok I missed the first race on the 7th because of root canal. The 14th will be first race. I am wanting to install new dizzy and would like to make sure timming is set correctly however I do not have the service plug to jump. Can someone tell me which pins on the ecu I need to jump to set timming.
