I had the same problem, my father put a switch button to the starter and ended up leaving it like that. Now I just cant figure it out why the fans wont turn on. If your car starts up does your fans turn on?

ok so I did the same thing a couple weeks ago put the starter on a button and it didn't have spark because the igniter was died i to noticed my fans where not coming on so I bypassed it and put the fans on a toggle switch and no longer have any problems and I also figured out y it won't crank by the key it's because of the ignition relay is bad

So I'm a little confused if you have a no spark or a no crank problem.
No Crank:
You got power goin and everything seems normal with the key to the ON position,
then when the key is turned to "start", the dash lights go out like normal but your getting no starter response?
When you jump the starter, it turns correct? The engine actually turns over?
You need to verify if the starter is good, both the solenoid and the motor.
I would next verify that with the key being turned to start that the starter solenoid wire is hot at the starter, this will tell you if there is a wiring fault or if your ignition switch and installation are ok.
If your not getting power at the starter solenoid:
-If its an automatic there may be a problem with the gear/shift selector position switch.
-If its a manual there may be a problem with the clutch safety switch.
-Bad Ignition Switch
-Wiring Fault
No Spark:
Code 15 is a Honda manufacturer specific code for "Ignition Output Signal" from the Ignition Control Module (Inside the distributor).
Check your whole ignition system but I'd start with the ignition control module, if you've got a no spark and a code 15, chances are thats your problem.
