5th gen. shifter question
When I bought my 99 prelude sh. It came with a aftermarket short shifter. I dont really like, I prefer the stock shift pattern. Is the stock shifter for the base and the sh the same? I am looking to going back to stock.

Re: 5th gen. shifter question (EbpEm1)
Do you know if it came with a true short shifter, or just a short shifter adapter? If it came with the adaptor, you believe you can just take it off to return to stock.
Otherwise, I can't see how the SH/Base shifter assemblies would be any different.

Yes, the Base shifter is the same as an SH shifter...Check and see if its an adaper first, cause if it is, you can just take it off, but if its a true short shifter, I"ll take it off your hands

What do you guys mean by adapter. I think it is a true short shifter. Its not that much shorter. This is my second Sh so I know how the shifter in my first one felt(which was stock).
