Re: (darkspector2.0)
You have the best short shifter out there I bought it awhile back and love it
When I get money im going to go for the black cooling plate.
From hours of searching you guys are the only ones with these cooling plates

I stick with the motto of building stuff that I'd use myself. The problem was that I've always hated metal ***** that scorched your hand (I live in Arizona). I worked with HPC Coatings which is very popular for their high temp exhaust coatings to try and find a decent looking coating for a steel (heavy) **** that would not heat up as much in the sun as a normal metal ****. We tried a few things and nothing worked to my liking so I scratched the idea for the time being. I may revisit it sometime and include a cool looking "sock" to put over it when you park or something :D
Groupbuy post coming shortly....

Man, when was this group buy when I bought mine last year. I love my ss & the cooling plate(polished). I just recently set it to the shortest setting & love it somemore! No more granny-shifting!

I bought my shifter about 1 and some change ago. One of the best mods I have done other than motor work. It has precise shifts and almosts slides into the next gear. Its not nearly as sloppy as the stock shifter and you will definately want to put put the shifter on its shortest setting which is the highest hole. The is no comparison and those cheap adapters dont even come close in comparison. And no I am not getting paid to say this I just was to lazy to do a review.....

Jeremy replied to my question via PM and said there are no clearance issues and the hood opens fine. The pic earlier in the post is deceiving.
