1999 Honda prelude H22a4 wont start
i cant get my car to start, i am getting plenty of fuel but no spark from the plugs or the coil directly.
there is no spark coming from the external coil, so makes me believe there is either a: a grounding issue or b: bad CPK/TDC sensor at the oil pump.
let me give you a quick run down:
i have plenty of fuel, in each cylinder
no sparks in any cylinder via plugs
no spark from coil
timing at the cams and fly wheel meet at TDC on the spot
checked grounds, (but will check again when i get home)
it doesnt make sense.. the car ran fine, idled great like a month ago before i made my new exhaust..
so yeah... im running on very little sleep, stayed up all night till the sun came out trying to get my car running..
so any ideas would be greatly appreciated

There's a procedure in the helms to test the coil. Is the coil receiving power? Those are good places to start.

but i will also do the helms test.. that vinuneuro reccomended as well
keep em' coming guys anything right now would help maybe im overlooking something very stupid..

coiled plugged in?
make sure the ground on the thermostat has good contact.
I find it weird that the coil is not firing even after replacing it. How did you test the coil?
take the coil wire off the distributor and place it just close enough to its prong to see the spark arch from the coil wire to the distrubutor prong. If it sparks, move to the distributor/ICM.
if you had a problem with the CYP/CKP then you would be getting a check engine light.

the exhaust i think covers it
for future references it was the ICM guys.. thanks for all the input and ideas
i just didnt assume it was the ICM bc the dist is still practially brand new.. haha.. and i barely drive the car
but oh wells!
