So I dropped my bike....Do you think my bike is totalled?
So I dropped my 2005 Honda CBR 600rr. All the fairings are broken.
Front headlight fairing, both side fairings, both ram air covers, and tail fairing is either cracked or broken. Also the swing arm has a couple scratches too.
The only thing not scratched is my gas tank cover.
DO you think my bike is totalled or fixable?

ditto.
im no claims adjuster, but from an insurance standpoint id say its totalled.
but it just sounds like cosmetic damage to me. id buy it.

I have seen some insurance Co's total a bike because of the cost related to replacement of all bodywork. it is a cost/income ratio, but unless the bike flipped it is usable... well... unless you smacked a brick wall... I'll give you $5.01

No doubt its totaled. Your best but is to not turn it into insurance and fix it little by little as cheap as possibly. If its just cosmetic you could just paint all the bodywork black or something.

I tried that once...it lead to sore ***** and quite a bit of chaffing. I wouldn't recommend it.

Your bike is totaled. If it is paid off, fix the mechanicals, get it running, run it naked while you save up for some fairings. A fairing set for your bike runs $2200 bucks. You can always get some sharkskins and paint them. Sharkskins run about $800 bucks.

Did this guy ever mentioned how he wrecked his bike? No pics either? Maybe he's a newbie rider.
