Just bought my first bike What you think???
98 cbr f3
I think i want to change out the front fairing with a 2002 f4. Would this be something hard to due or any links to someone that has done it. Does this seem like a good starter bike. I used to have a fully built cbr 125 cbr dirt bike which i know they don't compare but i am comfortable on two wheels.

Nice bike. Not sure about the plastic swap but I'm pretty sure you'll have to fab up some frame or bracket to secure the new plastic to. Then again, if you don't worry about the rattle at speed, zip ties are an option.

Thanks i guess ill have to do some trial and error the front of these bikes are pretty ugly

if i where u , just ride the bike.. and leave the plastics.. not to jinx.. but everyone goes down.. might as well use the bike to learn the streets.. usually not the rider its the people in cars u got to watch out for..

If you really like the F4 front end, you could always buy an F4. Prices for used Hondas drop faster than a stripper's panties.

How much was it?
Get a LP relocator to put it down a bit on the left, and change out the OEM taillamps, then your set.

Nice bike, my first 600cc was an F2 and I really like learning on it coming from a gs500, a little more power but subtle enough to be easy to handle as you progress. As with all bikes, take it easy, be safe and have fun. Congrats on the buy.
I know what you mean, my next trackbike is probably going to be a zx6r off the wera-boards once I sell my 92 F2, which I can sell for just about the same that its going to cost me to get a 06+ zx6r from the usa to venezuela

Those fairings are clean I wouldn't mess with it. I would only swap fairings if you smash up what you have. But if you do decide to swap, I did mine a few years back so I can let you know what is involved. There's pics posted on this site in a few places also
