cbr f2 ??
I've been looking around at newer bikes for awhile and came across a deal for a 1994 cbr f2 with 36k miles on it, full Yoshi exhaust, K&N filter, jet kit. is asking 1900... opinions?? I know it's no cbr600rr but it's cheaper then a lot of other bikes I've looked at which is nice cause I'm not made of money... doesn't have to be a killer canyon carver either just capable and decent all around.... so or

I don't think you can go wrong with that bike @ that price. I was looking for one myself but couldn't find any and settled for a Yamaha.

well this is my first REAL sportsbike as my first bike was a nighthawk 550. I've looked at the 600r, r6, f4, f4i, f3, etc. But well they're newer and the r6 kinda scares me still with my skill level and the others minus the 600r typically sell for a lot... the 600r would've been ideal but for 1900 it is hard to argue with if it's in good condition.

Its both of these.
A F2 is a excellent bike. It will be a classic one day.

Yeah that's a great deal, I paid a bit more for mine. I'd get it!

he says it has a crack on one fairing but he works at a dealer and can order in a new one. Cause I'm sneaky and all ima try and get the bike + new fairing for $1900. Though if the crack isn't bad or visible I might say screw it.

nah I'm not gonna let it change my mind. I think this bike will fit me best for a year or so and then I can move up to a super sport bike like the r6 or zx6r

Re: cbr f2 ?? (EngineNoO9)
i just bought my 94 f2 for 1500. best investment i ever made. the bike friggin rips. i was a little timid because of a carb'd bike. but the throttle response is very crisp. the motors on the nikes are like your honda car motors, they could go 150,000 miles easy. so 36k isnt bad at all. take it for a ride and listen to the bike. it will tell whether its tight or not. ask the seller as many q's as possible. its amazing what you can find out. all in all i would say buy the bike. the worst that can happen is you get your money back out of it. could sell on here for 2500.
