danmoto cbr slip on (video)
hey guys, just wanted to share a quick sound clip of my new danmoto carbon fiber slip on. i got this for my birthday from my wife (best wife ever!) to replace my old beat up vance and hines ss2. i was a little hesitant at first since they are so cheap and ive never seen one in person, but when it came in the mail, i was pleasantly surprised. the welds look great, it is very light, sounds awesome, and looks and feels quality overall. i am going to have the carbs rejetted pretty soon to see if i actually gain any power from it, throttle response definitely improved though. if anyone is interested in buying one of these, it is better to buy them through their actual website than on ebay. you save about $50 buying it directly from their site. but without further ado, here is a quick sound clip on my 1998 SJR CBR, enjoy!

Sounds good and not over loud, i had a 92 cbr600fm years ago and it kept up with all the bigger bikes out there round the twistys and was still good 2 up when taking the wife out for a ride. I really miss mine still to this day even though i now ride a 94 cbr900rr fireblade. If you can find one get a yoshimura full system mine made such a difference it was like night and day over stock.
I run a yoshimura system on my blade with stage 2 dynojet and a k&n filter its fun! |

Hopefully they changed the design so far its been since september and no problems yet! i hope nothing goes wrong. i did see on their website that people are making knockoffs that are inferior quality, which i dont know why anyone would make knockoffs of an $80 slip on lol. i also dont ride for long distance, so i will update you guys in a few more months to let you know how its holding up. i usually ride around 15 miles a day (rain or shine, hot or cold). |
