cb900f 1982 carbs
Hi
I have inherited a bike which has carbs issues... i stripped them to rebuild them, and noticed that between the needle jet and its cap screw. There is a small spring which is not on the technical drawing...
if i remove them, then the drain leaks which shows that the needle jet does not obstruct the hole properly. If i try to fit the little block whick came with the rebuild kit, then the needle jet screw cap cannot catch the thread, meaning it is too big to fit there...
what do you think ?
thanks
Romain

Re: cb900f 1982 carbs
hi,
my issue is that there is a part in the carbs which does not appear on the workshop manual, a small spring between the needle jet and its screw.
I have re-done these carbs with a kit, and these springs are not part of the kit. On the workshop manual, there is something else but no spring.
I hope it is clearer.
Romain
