Default CB 650 from scratch build

I have another thread on here from when I bought this 650 but I have gone a different route now. I had to change the head gasket and oil o-rings so I figured I would build a custom frame while I was at it.

I didn't take many photos while building it which is rare for me but her is what I have.

Right before I chopped everything apart

Raw steel

Test run without the tank finished

head gasket

scrubbed the engine

seat

Good job on the buildup. Looks like you took your time on the shape of the bike to your liking. It just looks like it would capture you in the event of a high side. Looks like a death machine if it high sides pretty much.

Be safe and wear your gear.

I built it specifically to fit me. I fit right into the frame behind the tank and my arms are still a little slack when reaching the bars. I have had it done for 3 weeks now and already put 1000 miles on it. So for others it would probably be uncomfortable but it is perfect for me.
