Cafe Racers/Streetfighters
Anyone have knowledge about these? I've been OBSESSING over cafe racers lately; I'm even thinking of purchasing an older Honda CB or Kawasaki KZ. How much does it take to make these look nice? Are parts available and abundant? Is it safe to DD the bike? Any suggestion and input is appreciated

you can make an old cb a decent looking cafe with clubman bars and a new seat conversion. but the sky is the limit. new paint, custom pieces, painting engine parts, new pipes. after I get my new Im going to look for a project cafe as well. Im going to look at either a honda cb 360 or a honda cb 550. they can be beautiful bikes if done right. do it!

I'm not into bikes at all, but those really are my favorite. A while back I saw some guy make a sportbike/cafe bike. It had a bunch of old school parts, but in carbon fiber. Wish I knew more about it, but it really was origional and cool.
Sadly my friends and I vowed that we would never get a bike, we are not mature enough to get them. I would have it a week before I spilled it and killed myself

I have the cash to build it but they don't just spring to life and I still haven't decided on a design/location.
Plenty of ideas, nowhere to start.
Story of my life.
