929 Front End Shakey Shakey
A friend of mine has a 2001 929. He says at about 120MPH and above, he gets a really bad front end shake, similar to a tank slapper(the handle bars shimmy side to side) . . . Anyone experience this before?

Re: 929 Front End Shakey Shakey (Frito1)
Check the front tire for balance, pressure, and check steering stem nut. It can also occur if his front forks are a little tweaked. I had this problem on an old gixxer of mine and same thing came up for my teammate on his 02 R1. Forks were toast on the gixxer and the front tire had tossed a weight on the R1. With a liter bike 120 is warming up nothing special no need for a closed course.

I believe the front fairing is cracked, but he has it glued in place until he gets a new one . . . bodywork you think?
