I have decided to convert my CB900C to manifold fuel injection. New seals for the carbs cost a fortune and I'm tired of them anyway.
I want to hear from anyone who has done FI on their bikes. I don't know what pressures I need from the pump or what size the orifices should be on the jets at the manifold (fuel pressure and flow rate per cylinder).

How cost effective is the conversion? For my ninja, it cost more than the bike!

There is a company called megasquirt that makes electronic fuel injection kits that aren't bad as far as cost. The low end model is a little over $300.00 on Amazon.
I just feel like a carbureted bike is meant to have fuel in the manifold to help cool and clean the intake valves. True EFI doesn't do that.
I was thinking just a fuel pump, nozzles, a check valve and a filter would do. That should be less than $100.00.
