need suggestions/helps with my new 2018 HRV
I recently purchased a new 2018 HRV. The car ran fine for the first ~500 miles on a road trip (initial odometer was ~100 miles).
I tried to avoid as much bumpy road as possible, but inevitably the car hit some not-so-good roads.
I noticed some clanking sounds coming from the bottom as the car approached ~700/800 miles (precise mileage not clear).
I could not get the car examined at the time as I was in the middle of nowhere. The sounds coincided with the speed of the car, which made me REALLY worried.
The sounds lasted, perhaps ~100 miles (and off and on but definitely frequently audible).
But when I approached the next city where I could try to find a service dealer, the sound was gone.
Afterwards, at time, or simply my imagination or hearing hallucination, I could hear the sounds coming back but they never lasted long. (less than 5 or 10 min on the road).
Questions
1. should I get it checked up, even though technically there is no sounds.
2. what could be the problems and what I should pay attention to while driving to know if the problems persist, worsen, or disappear.
3. what should I know when I bring the car to the dealer for an inspection (if advisable).
This is my brand new car, so I am super worried. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: need suggestions/helps with my new 2018 HRV
Had the same issue with my 2017 HRV. Turned out that the problem was nothing mechanical but the back rest of the folding seat on the 2nd row. The backseat did not lock in its harness and the sounds also coincided with the speed that I drove the car.
For your peace of mind that it is nothing mechanical, suggest you drive around with one backseat out of its lock and see if that was the sound that you heard.
cheers.
