2019 Honda Pilot
Hi all!
Hopefully someone here can give an idea of what is going on. I’ve had my 2019 pilot for less than a month, 1300 miles. I had a problem twice last week where my car would not start. The break pedal was rock hard and unable to push it down to start. Let us sit for a bit then it would start up. Took to the dealer the other night and they said nothing is wrong. 🤬
Then, today I’m driving and I stop at a stop sign. I attempt to go and the car just revs..I look down and neutral is light up, then the car goes to park and just shuts off! Again, brake pedal is impossible to push. Had to have it towed.
Does anyone have an idea what is wrong?
Thanks in advance

Re: 2019 Honda Pilot
First failure sounds like brakes vacuum booster loosing its vacuum. Other Pilot owners running into this problem. Seems to rear its ugly head when the temperatures drop. Many Pilot owners had the brake booster replaced to solve their problems. Search Piloteers on Google.
The second instance, sounds like you have the 9-speed transmission with push button shifter. I have not seen a tie in with the brake booster vacuum and shifting problems. You need to get the dealer involved to at least get the history events documented.

Thanks for replying! The car is still at the dealer, has been since Thursday. They called today and said they think it’s a battery problem? Doesn’t make sense to me.
