Default 2004 Honda Pilot

I have a 2004 Honda pilot and trying to figure out the power windows. From the driver side I cannot role down the passenger side windows or rear windows just the driver side window. The only way they will role down is from the actual door so I know they work just not from the driver side. Any help would be appreciated and also I got a check engine code p1456 just wondering if anyone knows what this code is thanks

For the power windows, first check if under-hood Fuse No. 51 (40A) is okay.

P1456 is evap system leak on the fuel tank side of the evap system. It can be caused by various parts on that side of the system. However, ensure the gas cap is on tight by turning it at least 3 clicks after each refueling.

Ok I checked all the fuses before but I will double check and let you know. If it is the gas cap how long would it take for the check engine light to go off if I get a new gas cap for it? Thanks

Don't replace the gas cap yet. Remove the gas cap and then re-install and turn till you hear at least 3 clicks. If it is due to the gas cap, the check engine light may go away within a day or two.

Ok I did that a few days ago and the check engine light is still on. Also I checked all fuses about the power windows and they are all good. I guess I need to check the wiring that goes from the driver side window switch to something that controls the passenger and rear windows. Thanks

It may turn out to be due to a faulty driver's door multiplex control unit.
