Troubleshooting: 2013 Insight leaking coolant
 

I have a 2013 Insight. last week we started hearing a weird scraping sound whenever we turned left. We checked under the car and around the wheels and didn't see anything. We decided to wait til we got paid to take it in to be seen.

THen a few days later I was driving and all of a suddedn hear a loud bang (almost as if I ran over something but I know I didn't). I looked for a spot to pull over, but as I was pulling over my car made a screaching noise and would jump every few inches as I was trying to pull it over.

After I was finally able to park, I got out, looked around my car and notice coolant leaking from under the car. I then opened the hood and notices one of the belts was missing.

I'm hoping it wasn't a head gasket issue, cause my engine was also kinda hot. but if it had overheated my car would have told me....

Any ideas? We havent been able to afford to take it in to be seen yet. We're waiting for our tax money, cause this sounds really espensive. But I wanna know what I may be walking into here...
