Re: OBDII

Doesn't autozone have code readers that work on all cars? Or are hybrids an exception from that?

Re: OBDII

Obd reader will not read cell battery voltages, but does work for crz... The car itself does all readings and measurements for the hybrid battery system... There are special equipments that people use to measure the cells, but you'd want to read more about that specifically... Go to the honda insight forums to learn more!

My genesis can get get quite a bit of data out of the IMA module on my '03 civic. Not sure about cell voltage though. A genesis will set you back 2500 bucks, so If you don't own a shop its an expensive tool just to use a couple times a year. If you're having any problems the system should throw you some trouble codes to give you an idea of where to go with manual testing.

i used to work at honda and we would have to use a mdi with a laptop to get the information you're looking for. or you can go out and buy a 2400 dollar snap on scanner:thumbup:
