If by "real" you mean "fully independent", then no.

However, the twist beam is a "real" suspension.

yeah it's real, as in it's made of tangible substances. but you know as well as I do that a torsion beam rear is generally at a disadvantage to IRS.

If you could European sales, that's guaranteed. They love their "hot hatches" over there...

I'm waiting to see if we get the 3 door here, or if Ford decides 'merica only needs the damn 5 door. Decent power, good mileage (a guess, but if the Cruze Eco is any indication of what a small displacement turbo engine can do it should be true), a back seat to use when needed, less front overhang to drag on driveways, and a more usable trunk. Ford might steal this Honda fanboi if they can keep the price reasonable, assuming I can live with the downgrade in interior quality.

The Fiesta in person looks nothing like a CRX in person save for the general wedge shape and car-like characteristics.

The Fiesta is stubbier and more round and the CRX more sleek imo.

once honda gets their head out of their asses and puts a motor in the crz they'll sell every one they can possibly make... an OG K20A2 would probably get BETTER gas mileage and be way more fun...

I guess honda is just leaving the options open to anything like they did back in the day.The original CRX got great gas mileage but was still sporty. Some people will buy them to get good gas milage, others will buy to swap them out.

And for the fiesta, it looks pretty much the same. I feel that a lot of the car concepts are starting to look alike. LIke that new kia forte thing looks like the civic
