Long-term storage of a 2013 CRZ
 

I travel for a few months at a time and would like to protect the IMA battery from damage when not used for over 3 months. Since it's a Li battery, can't I just unplug it and it should hold it's charge for many months? Having someone drive the car while I'm away is not an option. Honda tells me it must be driven every couple of weeks.

I read on insight central a while ago about a guy who was setting up his charger/discharger system to cycle the battery while he was gone..... If you haven't seen these they might work for you and they are very helpful via the phone https://hybridautomotive.com/
