It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
We got the official paper work today on the release of the Mugen Crz at the Honda dealership I work at.
They ship spring of 2o11, there will only be 300 of them made, and you can get one in any of the 5 crz colors. Who else is excited about this? http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...Mugen-2011.jpg |
Re: It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
Will it go any faster?

It will not get any engine performance parts, unless you count a Mugen oil cap as performance :P |

Re: It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
What happened to the turbo'd version that was supposed to come out by the end of 2011?
I'm wondering how much of a mark-up the Mugen version will be compared to a non-Mugen body kit equipped CRZ? I'm not excited... I want the turbo version. |
Re: It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
I find it funny that compenies like Ford are coming out with cars like the new Boss Mustang and Fiesta st and honda is doing this....

Re: It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
prefer the spoon CR-Z although im liking this too, doubt its getting a UK release though
the Type R was dumped in the UK too due to tighter emission laws and petrol (gas) is almost $10 a gallon here! sad times  |

Agreed, Not a fan of the wheels at all. I will be crossing my fingers, and toes on a turbo version (Crz Si) aswell. |
Re: It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
That will work for some.....Hope for the best Honda....

Re: It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
If the CR-Z looked this good off of the OEM assembly line, a lot more people on HT would be showing off their CR-Z's. There's no reason people should have to pay a premium to make the car look like it should have from the start.
IMO :) |

None yet, but since the CRZ is close in pricing to a Civic Si, I would just assume it will be close in pricing to the Mugen version of the Civic Si.

Re: It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
With the very reasonable price and huge performance "bang for the buck" of the '08 mugen civic si, I'm expecting awesome things from this crz!!
:hammer: ;) |
Re: It's official, get ready for the Mugen Crz.
I remember seeing the Mugen Civic Si a couple of years back. The regular civic si was like ~23k while the mugen was ~31K. And as far as I remember the Mugen Civic Si stock was slower than the regular Civic Si.
