Re: hottest cr-z yet!!!!!
Wow! Is this a winy haters thread? Looks good to me. Small car, small wheels. This is the only CR-Z that hasn't made me think "still a hybrid". It looks clean and I am guessing those are 16s. The wheel to caliper cap actually looks identical to stock 16s on CR-Zs.

You don't know much about what you talk about, do you?
From a performance aspect you want to get the smallest wheel you can that will clear the brake caliper, unless you are leaving the door open for a larger brake package. In that case you can achieve better braking performance by replacing key components in the system rather than going BBK.
Additionally, the tire is usually the heaviest part of the wheel tire combo and the further you push the tire away from the center axis the more performance takes a hit. Braking distance increases, acceleration diminishes, etc. The reason most people think a bigger wheel gives them better performance or handling is generally the sidewall gets smaller so their is less flex in the side wall. Sometimes when you get a tire that has too low of profile a tire can break traction sooner than if it had a larger profile, the very same reason stretching a tire for a street car is a bad idea.

im not driving an old school on 13x7 wire wheels so there is no need for stretching tires.

so your saying 13" donuts would be best for my integra k24a2? they are the smallest wheel i could put on my car. i think ill spin them out all thru out 5th gear ... love the way you think. why do people run bigger slicks and not smaller slicks? they run smaller rims but bigger slick which makes up for the size different, over power your wheels/tires size and you get nothing but wheel spin. its kinda like doing a burn out on spare tires. go try it and see how you do.

I think we are missing one element is how much traction is needed for your application. For high hp's setups smaller wheels and bigger tires put more rubber on the ground giving the most traction. do top fuel dragsters have 30" rims??? no... small rim huge tires maximum traction. for the smaller hp application throw your 17"+ plus rims on your ride you dont "need" the traction for the setup of your vehicle.
Im agreeing with 95 integra on this one.

Re: hottest cr-z yet!!!!!
its okay. i wouldn't say its the hottest one. the HPD and Eibach Springs are better to me.
The one Honda Tuning magazine has as a project car is also really nice too.
