DOOR CHIME LOCATION. Honda CR-Z

Re: DOOR CHIME LOCATION. Honda CR-Z
In modern Hondas, you can't just unplug simply something to turn off only the door chime without affecting something else (some majorly).
When the driver's door switch is opened, ground is sent to the Multiplex Integrated Control Unit (MICU) (the micu is part of the under-dash fuse/relay box), which sends the signal to the reminder circuit built into the gauge control module (aka instrument panel).
Unplugging the driver's door switch, micu, etc. will affect other things too.
