Just bought a insight 07/05/2012...going home the outside temp was 100+
A strange squeal came from the dash when trying to exceed 62 mph. Hoping that the noise goes away with time or cooler weather. Car has 400 miles
to date...Has anyone else experienced the squeal?

Same thing with mine. On the way home from the dealership, 08/11/12, as soon as I got up to 62 or so, the squeal started!. Pretty scary. Come to find out, it is coming from the windshield. When I push up on the headliner it quiets down or stops. ANNOYING! The rubber gasket/seal needs to be re-sealed. Googled and found out it's common with the 2012s ; ( Called the dealership and evidently there's some sort of service bulletin for it. If so and they knew it...why didn't they fix mine before they sold it to me? Now I have to take it in to be sealed. You're not alone
