09 civic hybrid BUY or PASS

found a 09 civic hybrid with 70k miles for $11,900. I dont know much about hybrids though. What are some of the things I should know before I buy a hybrid? Do I need to know the battery life? How are the CVT transmissions?
Or should I just pass? Thanks for the help!

im not gonna lie, you should stay away from it. i work at a honda dealership and i see about 15 of em come in A WEEK for IMA batteries or IMA software update. and the IMA software updates almost always come back for a new IMA battery. even though honda just extended the ima battery warranty youll still have to waste your time at the dealership ect ect ect...
