Re: Troubleshooting Code P0302 - Any Spark Plug How-tos
If you think it's a spark plug, try moving plugs between ok cylinders and the one you suspect is affected. If the misfire follows the plug, it's the plug. If not, try swapping coil packs. Same story, if the misfire follows the coil pack, its the coil.
Could also be compression, valves, rings, fuel supply, timing.....

Re: Troubleshooting Code P0302 - Any Spark Plug How-tos
Hello,
I got similar problem at 2005 Jazz 1.2 iDSI
Cruising at low speed and revs Engine light and Missfire on 2Cylinder.
Changed all 8 spark plugs, with no help. Swapped ignition coils between cylinders, no help.
Than unscrew EGR valve to clean. I found signs of short passage through EGR gasket.
Ordered a new gasket. Provide a good clean.
Is it possible that this is source of missfires?
What else should be done to sort of this problem?
Thank you.
EGR valve on right, engine with gasket on left

It certenly could be the cause of the misfire as when you reintroduce exaust into the intake you lean out the mixture and could cause a lean misfire , although usually it would lean out all cylinders ,the source of the leak is at the egr valve that effects all cylinders , it all depends on the design of the engine ,the intake manifold on some honda engines has different size holes were the egr gases go into the intake so if one passage is the largest more egr will get dumped into that cylinder causing a misfire , others ports are partly blocked . You would need both problems to be there partly plugged 134 cylinder intake manifold egr passages ans your leaking egr valve gasket blown out as in your picture , . In your case cylinder #2 as your misfire code is po302.
im not familiar with that engine as its not available here in Canada . One of the most common problems in Canada on the 1.5 liter engine for misfire is loose spark plugs , that damages the coil pack from hot exaust blowing on it from the loose plugs , and too tight valve clearances usualy causes misfire on cold engines .
