Default Why no sat. radio in Fit?

Dear Honda,

Why is there no option for satellite radio (XM/Sirius) in the 2009 Honda Fit?

You give me an expensive navigation system as an option, and only allow me to have stability control IF I spring for the extra $1000+ navigation system. Why is this?

Still, even with that expensive navigation option, I do not have built-in satellite radio capability?

Thanks for listening (now do something about it),
Greg

Along the same lines, does anyone know why receivers for terrestrial digital radio are not available from the auto manufacturers?

Agreed, and my intention is to purchase a nice ~$200 unit, with traffic service.

Still, I'd love to have to not put a sat. radio receiver on my dash, and have the integration into the unit that comes with the car.

However, there is no aftermarket stability control available.

I disagree.

I've read too many reputable articles about how helpful it can be. Maybe Michael Schumacher can get away in the 'real world' w/out it, but much like ABS, it does things that the human driver cannot.

Enlighten me. I don't see the need for something like stability control in a car like the Fit. ABS, yes but you don't need much else.
