Default Racing A FIT

By the time the car gets here this spring, people will already be acquainted with some of its racing successes.

So?

People really need to let go of the "OMG its a copy" junk. They both work.. and for a grand or so more... the sp00ms are lighter... great if you can afford it

I would imagine the same platform as the fit, its quite a bit smaller than a civic

I just realized it is running rear torsion beam which kind of sucks. Although, I understand Honda did it for more cargo space, which makes sense considering what the car is marketed as.

Regardless I think its a great little car, hopefully the US is getting over this "I must have the biggest car on the road syndrome" and welcomes it.

For 13k I wonder how many people will be buying this thing to turn into a track *****

I wish I could sell my accord and have a fit (literally).

I'd assume it would be lower insurance and less cost at the pump, plus my accord's a tank.

And even if I want to forego fuel economy, I can drop a K in.

Sounds perfect to me

They have been selling nicely here in Venezuela for the last years...but the thing is that in here, it's a little more upscale car that in the US, so projects are very few yet.

But I really like them. Great little cars, very comfortable

If the price is right, I can see a series just for Fits.

Who are all of these people that you all expect to be racing Fits?

There's a surplus of Civics and Integras and there aren't that many raced, relative to how many were sold.

I don't understand why the Fit is expected to be such a track star.

It won't be, necessarily. The Spoon Fit is a marketing ploy/introductory effort to get west coast looking forward to the car's arrival this spring or summer.

People are already joking about an "H6" classification in Honda Challenge.

I'd get one for a daily driver, then I can finally do the things I want to do to my coupe. And have a car that is super reliable and cheap to maintain as well.

My country has alot of modified fit/jazz .Our workshop has done quite a few port and polish job, the L15 ports are very thin so be careful with them. One of the fit i remembered dynoing is the turbocharged one, stock internal ,stock head ,IHI turbocharger,Unichip piggyback with staged extra injector and auto trans resulted in 180ps @0,7bar of boost.
My opponent dropped the K20A engine in it for road racing(look at my avatar the red most right car) and u guys should check out the Mugen Fit dynamite with the K20 engine @ 260ps .Aftermarket support is getting abundant now from Japanese company like J'S racing ,SPOON and ATS even produce the 1,5 way LSD , carbon clutch and 4,5 final gear. This March there will be a Honda Jazz one make race with group N regulation, If u guys are interested i will post some pics. THX
