I am extremely suprised that there are so many Mugen Dynamite Style cars on the street around the world. I am excited to see what lays in the future for the Fit in North America

so what are you saying?
that all the part (exterior & exhaust) can be bought to make our own mugen style "fitz" ?
where would someone go to buy these parts?

I would recomend contacting http://www.kingmotorsports.com Since they have been the Sole Mugen importer and supplier to North America since the late 80's

DAMNIT!! A K20 in a Jazz (Fit) ?!?!?! I WANT ONE!!
I just love the Fit I have now, but the engine (L12A1) is too weak, got a good MPG, but that's it...not that much power at all...but with a K20 in there, that thing would be the K1LLER!!

OK, so a sub $14,000 car now becomes as expensive (if not moreso) as an S2000 and STILL will never get around a race track as fast as one!

LOL!
That Mugen fit looks nice. Wasnt feeling the car too much when I first saw it online but now browsing thru this fit forum car looks cool. Dont know if I'd ever get one though.

I don't think a K20 is an easy swap? I just looked at one last weekend at GarageFK and they cut the fire wall and customized the front strut mount area to make it work(maybe more). I am not sure if it is needed for K20 swap or it is just the way they did it? Btw this car is for racing only, not street, they said they will debut in June at Tsukuba.

He's right, you're overhyping the Fit.

Better be careful before he tells you to shut it as well.
I have nothing against modifying a car, as my 93 Civic was a dedicated autocross monster and had $1000 custom Koni's and all other sorts of good stuff, but the sheer amount of money people appear to be putting into this particular platform surprises me... That's all.
It's your money spend it as you see fit.
Yes, the pun was intended.
