2012 Honda Fit Sport Manual. When shifting, can often feel two or three "detents" when going into the next gear. It doesn't feel smooth going from gear to gear. Also, sometimes the lever gets stuck in first gear for an instant before getting into 2nd. The timing of when I push the clutch in relation to moving the lever or revs doesn't seem to affect this.Is this most likely low mtf fluid, or is there another issue. I don't think it is the clutch.

Had the transmission fluid topped out. Gearshift lever still feels rough between shifts. Still don't think it's the clutch. What other things might cause this? Is there something out of alignment in the gearbox? Is this normal for a 2009-2013 Honda Fit 5-Speed?

Mileage? Change the fluid.

mileage is just short of 60k miles, fluid was changed at approximately 46k miles (assuming the Honda dealership I took the car to for that service did what they charged me for)
