Icon2 09 Fit. Aftermarket struts? Koni/GC/etc?

Just bought some springs and want to do it right the first time and put some good quality struts on them. Having trouble finding...anything really. Found Tokico blue's for GD's stupid cheap but nothing for GE's.

Can anyone help? Would prefer Koni Yellows as I've had good experiences with them before.

i'd like some koni yellows too - wish we had more performance damper options for GD/GE fits besides j's/showa dampers (which cost a lot), and T1R dampers.

T1R dampers might work with GE fits, since people have used the GD skunk2 coilovers on their GE?

KYB now makes struts & shocks for the GD3, I wouldn't think that a set for the GE8 would be too far off in the future.

No clue about t1r, I'd rather go with a company like Koni either way.

Yeah that's good about the kyb's, but the GD has also been around for 3 years, lol.

I just picked up my 09 Fit Sport and it already had Eibach Pro Kit springs on it. While I love the look and it seems to probably improve handling the ride is kind of bumpy on certain roads. I'd love to go with some much better struts.

According to KYB's online catalog it looks like they make the GR-2s for both GDs and GEs (as expected they have different part numbers). It looks like they're intended as an OEM replacement however.

I found nothing for the Fit at all on Koni's website.

Let's keep this thread going...

I saw those "replacement" ones as well...seems like they could have made a more performance oriented set of struts while they were at it, but what do I know. I'm sure the market is small for these cars anyways...

Bilstein has a set of dampers and springs available. They are used on the Fit Honda is running in B Spec according to Inside Line.

Yeah thanks for the info, I don't need the springs though and looks like it comes as a set.
