Good purchase?

Good purchase?
Thinking if buying a 2010 fit today with under 30k miles under $7500 and 1 owner, automatic. Spouse thinks purchasing a 2010 that’s sat hardly used for so many years is gonna be trouble. It was an older couples car and they didn’t drive it much. Carfax looks pretty good and well maintained. We aren’t mechanically inclined but we keep our vehicles up by getting them serviced regularly, so buying an older car is a bit trickier. We drove it and it looks and sounds good from what I can tell. We know it’ll sell fast, so we need to buy quickly if we want it. No fancy bells and whistles like blue tooth of course, but hey at least there’s power windows and awesome hatch trunk space. We’re new to the Honda world, so we’d like your opinions. Worth the risk on a 2010?

ask the seller about taking it in for an independent used car inspection. if you have a local honda or import specialist they can usually provide the most in-depth assessment. that should verify the condition is true to the listing and uncover any required repair or maintenance.
I would expect to put a set of tires on given the age and mileage. Those are probably factory original and starting to dry rot (or at least harden). as a rule I change all fluids when I buy a used car so I know what I have in it and how long it's been in there. plan for that too.
these were well thought out and well built cars. this is the kind of car Honda does best. I have heard many say to look for the Japan built vs. the Mexican built (it's in the VIN, do an internet search for the decoder) but I haven't seen anything that would make me want to avoid the Mexican produced Fits.
