This same picture popped up on fitfreak not to long ago if i remember correctly they were talking about it is for training, if you car spins or drifts out of control, they said they use them on the police crown vics as well for training.

Usually skid control cars are set up like the red car above. The instructor flips a switch and it will raise one end of the car or the other until the tires leave the ground. I don't know how you would drive the Fit to and from the test course with those shopping cart wheels though. The slightest touch on the steering wheel would have you doing donuts. It sure looks like fun though!

Reminds me of when me and my friends would put taco bell trays under the rear wheels of his geo, and lock the E brake...
Car would slide everywhere until the tray was gone.

bah I dont need that. its called the rain and my GSR haha. I spin in that thing a lot. but you get used to it and I havent crashed yet. knock on wood. but yeah it helps to do that in a safe environment. many people rarely find themselves in that position. I had a bad accident where I was tboned in the side near my rear bumper, in my old civic coupe. I spun out, but due to my sparco fighter seat and 4 pt harness the onyl thing in my mind was "huh im spinning cool. oh **** my roommate is freaking out. I should stop the spinning" and I corrected the spin and pulled out of it.

LIKE that.. yes.. but you can't put little castors and first off expect to roll more than 3 feet.. two be able to controll the car AT ALL.. cmon.. use your head and really tell me that that is real.. yes they have skid test... look at the contraption on those...nothing like this photoshop deal here.. people can do amazing things with photoshop.. don't believe everything you see.. what in the world are you thinking.

it looks as if those are lockable and unlockable? It would make sense, to be able to lock the trolley wheels into a straight line until needed, and then remote release them?
