CA area interested in FIT alarm stealth install
Hey hopefully this isn't against the rules of this forum. If it is, please delete it. But I'm looking for a test vehicle to do a stealth car alarm install in. If you're not familiar with what I mean from my write-ups etc take a look at the site in my sig.
Basically I would be using your car, minus any identifying information, to make a FIT version of that site so that everyone else can do it themselves. You'd have to be local to San Diego, available Tuesday and Wednesday, and you'd have to get all the parts yourself which are going to total several hundred dollars. Parts are going to be DEI battery backup module, piezo siren, Viper/Python/Clifford alarm, and some sensors. Most of the crap can be bought on ebay but the alarm you're going to have to buy at Best Buy etc.
Labor charge I haven't decided on. I would like to make something for my time but obviously I'm not going to charge even half of the usual $300. And no I'm sorry I don't take side jobs anymore. I just make websites . Too busy working full time.
They do make a 2 door version, correct?

Re: (ezekielwhore)
Weak. Maybe I should do a Yaris.
I've put alarms into Fits before. Having rear doors will make a stealth install more difficult. Maybe the center console...

Well, when you finally decide, don't come back and tell everybody.

I don't think it's stealth any more anyways
