Possible to put fog on 1st Gen crv like the jdm/edm bumper?
I'm looking at jdm/edm bumper but those are hard to find. I found a few sites for 150 but no picture so I think it might be a scam. And a legit one on ebay is over 700!
If you guys have a link to a replica, that'll be fine but I'll be fine with somehow putting on the fog on the stock bumper. If you guys have done it before.
But for lol, how bout 2nd Gen bumper with the fog spot already on and cut the piece where between the grill and headlight sit? I know I'm stupid but just a suggestion.

LOL, you do realize they came factory on top of the bumper right? It was an accessory option...
Others just buy the cheap ones or do ghetto stuff. Many different ways to mount them. Here is just one more way since all of this stuff is EASILY searchable...

you can find the jdm bumpers on yahoo japan auctions and then work with an importer to get one over here. they're also available in england but shipping is absolutely ridiculous to get them over here. from what i have seen, there is no aftermarket ones being made. as for fog lights that mount into it, a lot of people use EM1 fogs and modify the brackets. i want to get one of these eventually this year and when i do i will end up grabbing a set of factory fog light housings from Japan.

I fit accord/ tl fog lights on my bumper. Looks amazing, wanted something different then the normal JDM bumpers. Much cheaper option as well, around $65 for the fogs and about an hour or so to fit. A company does make a replica JDM bumper now, I've seen it for sale on Instagram for around $300 by user projectjdmny.

I gave up on tracking down a JDM bumper, so I just installed a Westin bulbar. They are readily available for about 100-150 buck w/brackets. I have a pair of Hella 500 fogs on the bottom, and a pair of Hella 500 drivings on top. Back roads and deer are no match for this combo.

Wow, Thanks for sharing! I haven't seen that before and can't believe how well they blend in. Practically looks factory! Nice job man! Now I just have to order a set and see if they will clear my intercooler piping haha! Thanks again, I really do appreciate it.
One question though - Did you have enough adjustment to be able to aim the light beam straight or do the beams point off to the sides?

No problem. The only issue is you don't have adjustment for the bulb. It would take extra brackets I didn't care to make. This points straight and fills the "dead zone" before your headlights take over. Exactly how my Honda fit came from factory so I'm leaving it as is. You could make it adjustable but I didn't think it was necessary with the cut off I got. I'll try to get night shots in the next few days.I'm working on getting it wired with an OEM switch
Let me know if you need help with anything. I took a few pics when I was doing it.

lunar_rd1 can you please give me more information on how did you install the fog lights and if I need some type of bracket to hold them.

Damn that looks good! I had seen one where they used the 99-00 civic fogs in the same spot but looked kinda trashy. This almost looks OEM.
