Still looks great! How many miles do you have on this build now? Have you noticed accelerated wear on any suspension or drive parts?

Re: Lifted EBP CRV work log
i think it only has 157k on it. suspension has been replaced. only parts i have a lot of issues with are sway bar links. i found longer links that fit an Accord but they still seem to be having issues. it doesn't get driven much so i may sell it soon.

Just found this build thread- man that CRV looks awesome, you did a good job! Anybody would have fun driving something like that around. Now you've got me thinking about buying one for my wife- we live in the mountains of North Carolina and an AWD vehicle is very useful in these hills.

Re: Lifted EBP CRV work log
it was definitely fun to own. my parents recently bought it from me so it at least is staying in the family. it is back to stock form though.

Re: Lifted EBP CRV work log
Hey,
How much of a lift did you do front and rear? I have 2" strut spacers in the rear right now and want to go 1" in the front. Will that be harmful to the axles or suspension components?
Thanks

Re: Lifted EBP CRV work log
honestly, 1" in the front is probably best. i had 2" and my front end hated it. i was always replacing sway bar links and one of my axles was finally going out when i sold it. i would say 1 1/2" max in the front.

Where would you recommend buying 1" strut spacers? I've briefly looked but don't want to break the bank on them if I don't have to.

Re: Lifted EBP CRV work log
wanted to bump this old a** thread! had sold my blue crv to my parents and bought myself a Nissan Frontier Pro4x. after heavily modifying the Frontier, needed a new daily so i picked up a manual trans 1999 CRV! Immediately ordered coilovers and wheels/tires.
pic of the crv. needs tint and the suspension dialed but super happy with the stance and look as well as the manual.

How is it wheeling that Frontier? I seriously considered a Pro-4X Xterra when I was shopping for my off-road rig but my price range put me in the mid-00's and those all suffered that awful coolant-mixing-with-trans-fluid-nuking-trans problem so I bagged it. Every time I hit the off-road park I always see an Xterra group though and they look like they're having fun.

Couple videos of me climbing with it.
as long as the radiator has been replaced with the correct part numbers on the mid 2000s then you should be fine. they also have timing chain guide issues though. once i get this thing paid off though, i'm VK and M205 swapping it so i have the titan v8 and front diff to go along with the titan suspension.

Nice! That looks like fun! Having only about 3.5" of lift and 32's on my 2004 Grand Cherokee I also get plenty of use from my rock sliders. Best money spent!
