How do you pull cell codes for 05 Element

To add to that, they'll pull codes for free at Autozone.

on a honda that new can you still blink the codes with the CEL or do you NEED a Scan Tool?

on a side not anyone have any experience with the OTC Genisys scan tool? or have and suggustions as to what is the best scan tool for the money if i have like $2000

i used the genisys when i was at school last year. its pretty decent for sure. I found it to be better than the snapon tool that im using at work now. Tech2's are the best for GM's though. It all depends on what you work on most. For a generic tool, genisys or snapon is your best bet. Thing i hate most about snapon is having to use the keys and that its pretty slow.

don't need the keys with the wireless DL-4 connector. that thing's the cats ***. for a generic scan tool, of course.
snap on verus at least throws manufacturer specific codes. not sure about the genesis.

you can pull codes from jumping 2 of the pins on the datalink connector. i believe pin 21 is one of them, since that should 12v. can't remember the other one.

we dont have the wireless dlc connector at my work. sounds cool though. boss wants to upgrade to it. the genisys does indeed pull up manufacturer specific codes.
