well my wife recently destoyed her 99 crv ex on a country road in a blizzard man i miss the thing we are thinking of buying a 2001 crv se model. color is gold which i hate but anyways i can get the thing for $2500 can. with 280,000km's original owner also comes with a honda factory bike rack for the roof rack. my question is was they're ever such a trim called GT EDITION the decal is on the trunk just wondering because i plan on painting the V ethier white or blue and would have a new decal made for it. i cant seem to find much info on this trim level online. thanks..

it could be a se model, but since ur in canada thats the trim model.dunno for sure

yeah i no for sure its an special edition because it has the painted bumpers and tire cover and leather. my buddy said it was a limited edition but i dont see what is different than others as far as options must be a canadian thing i guess.

ok i found i little bit of info on the gt edition they only came out with gt edition for one year in 2001 the dealer gave you a GT mountain bike or gift card for a gt mountain bike not 100% on that but this crv has the factory bike rack so it makes me wonder. they also had another edition called the head edition in the se model. anyways i wonder if i could get these decals at the dealer if they would still carry these i can't find em online anywhere

2500 seams pricey at that amount of KM's. I bought both of mine for 340/350 bucks. One was rotten to hell, and i bought it for parts with 410, 000 km's but it runs mint. The other is my daily and is in great shape. It had 260,000 when i got it. Needed a tie rod for cert...If your willing to spend the cash on it though, id say go for it, but better deals are to be had. Ive seen a few "GT" editions and a few "Head" editions around town before, but im not sure what they were for. Youd be best off going to honda with the vin to see if they can get it, if not, go to a sign shop prior to removing the decal and they can take a high res photo of it and make you one for usually about 20$

good info thanks. but yeah crv's in my area ridiculously overpriced cheapest one is $700 blown motor and trans haha and ive seen the special editions go for as high as $6500 with higher mileage. i didnt think it was that bad of a price and plus that was buddies asking price im going to haggle with him a little.

yeah that sounds like you got a good deal on the crv's. i wish i had deals like that in my area ive been searching local classifieds for months looking for the best deal.
