Nothing.Special

So this doesn't happen all the time but it happens every now and then, when under acceleration, sometimes it will hesitate and sputter.

Possible causes? Easy fix? What should I look at first?

i would start off by putting in new spark plugs in. NGK seem to work the best for me. Thats usually the best place to start

I would say spark plugs and wires would be a good choice.
Get ngk plugs and wires.
Not to much else is going to cause hesitation.

aside from the distributor and all of its internal components. any number of fuel related problems. ckp. ect sensor. vacuum leak(s). etc. etc..
yea. i'd say there's a whole helluva lot more than just plugs and wires to suspect.

codes are free to check. and they point you in the direction you need to go.
utilize the system the manufacturer has so graciously put in place
