Hi i have a 2003 CR-V, i wanted to get an extra key made for the vehicle so a locksmith made the key and used his machine to program it in. He went into the program immobilier ring by mistake and cancelled that option then tried to program key. Nothing worked and since its not recognising the exisiting key everytime he tried to program the key back in the immobiliser light kept on flashing.
After sometime i bought a used ECU, Lockset and relays from another car and connected it up, i lefts all original component in place but plugged in the new set in situ.
There were 2 connectors on steering column 1 keyless reciever and two grey boxes even with this it still was flashing the immobiliser light and no start
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated
I was told it was the honda type 3 immobiliser system
