My 2002 CRV with 370km on it jerks when the speed reaches over 60km/hr
it makes a buck buck sound , i had put some gas treatment in it but the problem still persists

Re: 2002 Honda CRV stalling
Just off the top of my head...
- When did you last change oil in rear diff ? (Honda Dual Pump ONLY !! no purple)
- When did you last change transmission fluid ?
- Do your tires have any bulges or look like a belt has slipped making them out of round ?
- Are your Engine/Transmission mounts ok ?
- Are the Universal joints on your drive shaft ok ?
- Is your CAT plugged up reducing exhaust flow ?
- Really reaching here ... have you ever had your Valve Lash adjusted ? (Honda recommends every 170k)
Cheers !

Sounds like the VTEC solenoid block needs replacement. That and an oil change should get you going. Just fixed my 03 doing that. Might want to pull the valve cover and check valve adjustments if that hasn't been done in a while. Exhaust valves get tight and cause poor starting.
