Default 1999 crv another sway bar problem

Sorry if this has been covered, I'm low on time ( I know you hear it too often)
I have a 99 awd 5 speed crv purchased from daluv.
I recently replaced the sway bar endinks just to find that the mounting brackets and bushing were shot.
I was 4 hours from home and needed to replace them so I proceeded to attempt the feat. Started with passenger side and immediately regretted it. The first bolt came out fine. The second (front) snapped off at the head leaving the rest in the subframe. At this point I was livid, but kept my cool and asked around for a drill and tap. Started drilling and seemed okay. All the sudden the fu**ing hole was crooked. Tapped it the best I could and slapped a giant bolt in just so I could get her home. The rear of the mount will NOT compress enough to get a bolt in so now I'm driving with one bracket that's half on and another that's factory and probably going to break off.
all this being said, with the hole in the subframe being so screwed up, what are my options? Weld the damn mount on and deal with it later? Replace the subframe and start fresh?
The v doesn't lean a hole lot while cornering oddly enough, but I still have that fear that it could and something bad could happen. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Also, the bolts that came with the brackets, dont fit the fuming stock holes
Rigged up real good.
