Re: *Official H/T OFFROAD/LIFTED CR-V thread!*
So I spent Friday morning by reading the Ecu file and copying it, sent it to the Celtic Tuning and by lunch I had the updated map in my inbox.
Spent 5 min on Saturday morning to reflash the Ecu with the modified map.
Best 200USD I've ever spent.. The 55hp and 41torque makes the V pull like a friggin train
Also started modifying the V with some stuff..
Hood deflector, Fitting a switch panel, a LED bar that gives 1 Lux at 1400ft.. A Stebel Nautilus horn that gives 140dB instead of the original 110dB beep-beep and a relay bridge.

I did have a complete build thread at HondaSuv.com - which disappeared entirely when that site went down. I guess I kind of took for granted that I'd be able to pull it up on internet archive or something if that ever happened. So far, no luck. I'm going to try to dump some photos, still digging up pics of the light install process - there were good ones, especially the mouse that had died and mummified on the subframe below the old headlight.

Seriously jealous of your diesel CR-V ClabbeB, I think that engine would suit the car a lot better especially with a little extra torque!
Eventually I want to put a light bar in the same spot.
Almost got my 20mm strut spacers in now. Fronts are in but I had to take the car to a shop to break loose the stuck rear shock fork bolts. I've been taking lots of pictures and will do a writeup on the process.

Got my first rear flare installed and beat out the fender lip in the hopes that it will give me some better clearance with these 15x8's

Removing and replacing. I've never had to pry upward on a strut to get it free of the LCA - usually the LCA drops out of the way. Why in the name of all that's holy isn't there an extra inch or two of downward movement?! When reinstalling, I'd much rather jack up the LCA to meet the shock then jack up the shock and use a hammer to coerce it into its place on the LCA.
Just my rant for today

Yes. That allowed a little extra droop but not enough.
I wonder if it has something to do with the axles? But I'd think those would pop out at the inner joint, like the front ones do if you let them.

I'm not versed enough in the rear of the 2nd gen to know of any more ways to droop the trailing arm more, sorry.
I guess you'll just need to have a second person to stomp on the trailing arm to give you the extra oomph!

It's a built b20 with forged bottom end and stock rebuilt head. Garrett turbo on 18lbs right now and it's pretty wild. Still has a/c and drives like a stock CRV until you hit boost.

Nice man, what kinda power are you making on 18lbs. Just curious if its worth putting a vtec head on or not. I kinda want to be in the 300 range all said and done.

I haven't dynoed the car so I'm not sure how much it's making right now. It spins through 2nd gear (60mph) if that gives you an idea.
