Nah dont its not common knowledge

You would be ok on stock springs only if you plan to maintain the current rev limit. Check to see where that cam makes most of its power, which is almost definately gonna be above the rev limit. For instance I have a cam in my car that has a powerban from 4500-8k, and it pulls really hard to the 7100 rev limit. I'm still rockin the stock valvetrain other than the cam, havent had any problems yet, but again thats cus i dont/cant over-rev. If you really wanna take advantage of the cam, get new springs and retrainers, they can be had for roughly 330 from Exospeed.com .

Yep, thats me. I beat it to **** daily. But thats because I have a spare that I'm in the process of building to actually take the abuse.

Oh yeah, i read your other post too, lose the underdrive pulley. I've only heard bad things about them, and have seen very reputable builders on this site lose motors to them. Search around a bit.

the zex stage 2 is kinda crappy, I put a distributor in just slightly off and it cracked the inlet on the cam, but I dunno if that would hold true for any aftermarket cam but It felt extremely weak.
