Alright, I took my old ZC and sold it to a friend, we got everything wired up right. We put the motor in a DX, using the DX harness, just converted it over to MPFI. Well, it starts and runs, just it runs like crap. It sounds like it has a miss to it, and when you give it full throttle, it falls on its face. It also has no power up to 3 grand, then it just takes off.

It also has a strong fuel smell to it, as if one injector is spraying fuel constantly.

When we took it out of my car, it ran PERFECTLY, not missing or backfiring or anything. All we did was take the motor out of my car, took it down to a friend's garage, and swapped it in his car.

We got almost all of the codes off of the ECU. The only code it is throwing is a code 17 (vehicle speed sensor).

Another question is that a friend of mine has a ZC as well, and he doesn't have a crank angle sensor on the exhaust cam. It's plugged off, but the wires are hanging there. Mine, on the other hand has a CAS on the exhaust cam.

Basically, the car is running like crap, and it can barely make it up a steep hill. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks.

i bet your have the plug wires in the wrong order, it happens to the best of us. Same thing happened when we put a new dizzy on my friend's 93 civic. 2 plug wires were wrong, strong gas smell and shitty power
