i haven't really done much progress till now. collecting parts as usual.

GC top hats and boltboys hardware.

While I'm still busy doing someone else's engine assembly...

I got a good deal for an old stock but brand new ITR caliper set.

more red labels that we always crave for...

it's OEM or go home :D

K-tuned shifter with Hasport linkage.

Hardrace or park hard :D and Synchrotech YS1 tranny bearing and seal kit.

days passed and I couldn't wait to test fit them using the Civic 4-door EX spindles and a pair of Mini Cooper 11" rotors.

it fits but a 9mm spacers are required

With the 28T caliper bracket that came with the NSX caliper set. the usual gap size differences.

second attempt to clear the RNR wheel spacing using 2x3mm(6mm total) spacers.

with 3 x 3mm spacers.

with the ITR caliper, 23T bracket:

all clearances A Ok but this time with 2 x 3mm spacers.

lego time. swapped the 23T bracket into the NSX caliper. Bolt-on for sure.

rotor to bracket clearances on both sides are now perfect.

still with 2 x 3mm (6mm) spacers to clear the wheel:

with my 6-year old TE37's (4x100, 15x7, +43 OS): all clear with no spacer/s required.

With all the hard work this year, I guess santa was so kind enough to give me such a wonderful gift set and I can't wait to receive and see them in person.

Never been mounted, brand new old stock M7's.

Happy Holidays to you all and thanks for viewing.

hey so im actually planing on running the same set up for my brakes i have stock accord wagon calipers (same as type r's) and brackets do the stock bracket clear the mini rotors with no machining done to them? and what mini rotors are you using do you have a part# for them? i read somewhere mini rotors couldnt be used due to some hub ring thing..

Yes, the rotor (2009 Mini Cooper S) will clear the calipers. no spacers needed to be sandwiched between the rotor and hub. there's no need to machine any part either.

The rotor will sit flush into the hub just fine. no need to use hub centric rings.

Here's a pic with the mini rotor mounted. spindle/knuckle and hub used were off of a 4-dour Civic EX.

thank you Sir.

I'll be using a Toda rep header. I had them both, real(v1) and replica, since '09 and never been mounted to date.
