I have 1 q'n... I see 35 to 100 micron, if this is your only filter, what is best?? Highest micron?
Like do you always want to filter down to the smallest micron, or do you want a happy median for increased flow??

well the smaller is better filtering. The system 1 is top of the line and its 30 micron. I say 30-40 micron should be perfect.
Also, i wouldnt get just any filter. I would get a trusted name. Like some of those filters on there are for carburated applications. You have been warned

Smaller is better and two is better than 1. Something like a 100 micron after the tank and then a 30-35 in the engine bay.

or you can be even stealthier and mount the same filter after the gas tank but before the fuel hard lines under the car and have no filter in the engine bay like me

Re: WRITE UP: How to convert your fuel lines and ugly filter to Stainless -6AN hoses (EF8kid)
I ordered this and it doesnt fit correctly, did you trim that stock piece, when we attach it, it only can catch 2 threads..did you have to modify the piece at all?
Part # - 9894DBH - 14 x 1.5mm -6 Female saginaw to AN male adapter - $5.87
(For this fitting use some teflon tape on the stock tube nut and dont tighten it with all ur might. It pretty much stops at a certain point so its not a big deal. Be careful tho just b/c the fitting is aluminum and the stock tube nut is steel.)

Nice setup.......the only concern I would have is all the color in the engine bay. Piggys like to look for that stuff, but that can be easily solved with some black or dark colored fittings/hoses. I like it

Aww man yeah, you have the kind with a space of no threads on the end...like this pic. Mine didnt have that it was just threaded to the end. Im not sure man, i'd try cutting it with a nice tubing cutter..

awesome, lemme know how that works out so i can add it to my write up. Make sure theres no pointy sharp edges after the cut, theres an internal o ring i think. Good luck

Re: WRITE UP: How to convert your fuel lines and ugly filter to Stainless -6AN hoses (droppedcrxsi)
The pipe cutter I had didnt sit flush because of the threads, so I couldnt get it to cut straight... I used a dremmel, and took the unthreaded section out... Then I used teflon tape. I think it turned out clean. Ill have pix of the end result soon
