Default what should an 88 civic's fuel pressure be?

remove vacuum hose from regulator, pressure should be high 30's. Check on here for exact numbers. Good luck.

if you have a fuel gauge at idle it lik 40 psi and i think a open throttle is 45

the 45 could be achieved by removing fpr hose
